With Crain’s readership spanning business leaders, donors, and elected officials, this acknowledgment further elevates the visibility of Josselyn’s mission and the critical mental health services being provided across the community.

Since joining Josselyn in 2015, Susan Resko has led the organization through a decade of extraordinary growth and impact:

  • Annual revenues increased from $1 million to $30 million.
  • The staff grew from a dozen therapists to nearly 300 professionals.
  • Josselyn expanded from one location in Northfield to six sites across Northfield, Northbrook, Waukegan, Grayslake, and Highland Park, now serving nearly 8,000 clients annually.
  • In 2023, a successful consolidation with Family Service of Lake County preserved nearly a century of mental health services for the region.
  • In both 2024 and 2025, Josselyn was named to the Crain’s Chicago Business Fast 50 list as the only nonprofit recognized among the fastest-growing organizations in Chicagoland.
