Courtney Cook is the author and illustrator of the Kirkus-starred graphic memoir The Way She Feels: My Life On The Borderline In Pictures And Pieces, deemed as one of the Best Books of 2021 by Book Riot. Her writing has been published by outlets such as TIME, The Guardian, The Rumpus, Hobart, Lunch Ticket, and Split Lip Magazine.

Courtney received her BA from the University of Michigan and MFA from the University of California, Riverside. She lives in Chicago and teaches creative writing from her living room with the help of her senior cat, Bertie.
