Susan joined The Josselyn Center in August, 2015. She has over 25 years of change management, executive, marketing and relationship management experience in the non-profit and banking industry. She has served as chief executive or the senior development officer at LIFT-Chicago, DBSA and The Balanced Mind Foundation. Prior to redirecting her career to mental health, she was VP and Senior Relationship Manager at Harris Trust and Savings Bank (BMO/Harris.) Susan holds a Masters in Marketing from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Miami University in Ohio.

Mike joined The Josselyn Center in 2016 after decades of community mental health and business experience. Mike was Director of Community Care Coordination for Illinois’ largest Managed Care Organization, and served as director and site supervisor for one of Chicago’s leading community mental health clinics. Mike is passionate about proving the highest quality mental health care to clients and also being a resource for the community at large. Mike holds a Master's of Social Work from Loyola University of Chicago and a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology from Northeastern Illinois University.
|Kelly Schuler, B.S.
Director of Operations
Kelly began her career with The Josselyn Center in August of 1995 when she was hired as Business Administrator responsible for management of the budget, MIS, billing, supervision of support staff and development and maintenance of the administrative policy and procedures manual. She was appointed Director of Operations in June 2002, maintaining the same responsibilities plus taking a more active role in administrative leadership of the Center. In addition, Kelly works closely with the board and its finance committee. Prior to joining The Josselyn Center, Kelly was employed for eight years in the private financial sector. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Marquette University.

Director of External Affairs
Denise joined The Josselyn Center in January 2016. She has over 25 years of consulting, marketing, sales and development experience. Most recently, she worked for New Schools For Chicago, as their Director of Development. New Schools is an organization of the Civic Committee for the City of Chicago charged with funding the startup of over 70 charter schools in the city. In addition to her work at New Schools, Denise has had a variety of positions consulting both For-Profit and Non-Profit organizations. She has helped organizations successfully design and rollout both marketing and corporate identity programs. Denise holds a Masters in Marketing for Columbia University in New York and a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics for The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester MA.

Director of Development
Jennifer joined The Josselyn Center in November 2016. Recently new to the Chicagoland region, she has 15 years of development experience. Her fundraising experience at Science Central, Turnstone Center for Children and Adults with Disabilities, and SCAN (Stop Child Abuse & Neglect) has rounded her skill set in the field of development. Jennifer holds a Master's in Public Management and Bachelor's in Public and Environmental Affairs, both from Indiana University. She also holds a Certificate in Fundraising Management from the IU School of Philanthropy.
