January Intern Cohort Brings Josselyn’s 2025–2026 Training Class to 35

Josselyn marked an important milestone this month with the arrival of its January intern cohort. On January 12, eight new interns began their training, expanding the 2025–2026 intern class to a total of 35 graduate-level trainees.

The January cohort reflects Josselyn’s phased approach to onboarding interns, with start dates intentionally distributed throughout the year.

This model allows the organization to remain responsive to community needs while ensuring interns receive consistent, high-quality supervision and clinical training.

As a long-standing provider of community-based mental health services, Josselyn places workforce development at the center of its mission. Interns train alongside licensed clinicians, gaining practical experience while building competencies in assessment, treatment planning, ethical practice, and culturally responsive care.

“Our internship program is designed to meet the realities of today’s mental health environment,” said Josselyn CEO & President Susan Resko. “By growing our intern class thoughtfully over the course of the year, we are expanding access to care now while investing in the future of the profession.”

The 2025–2026 class was selected from a competitive pool of applicants representing counseling, social work, and related graduate programs. Interns consistently cite Josselyn’s commitment to accessibility, equity, and community-centered care as central reasons for choosing the organization as a training site.

With the January cohort now underway, Josselyn continues to advance its vision of Mental health for all by expanding its workforce and preparing skilled professionals to meet the needs of the communities they serve.
