Camp Neeka Camper Support Group
Share and Receive Support Alongside Peers
Purpose
To create a supportive, socialization, and skill continuation group for children and adolescents who have attended Camp Neeka.
- Participant Details – Open to children age 7-13 who have attended Camp Neeka
- Date & Time – Meets at Josselyn Northfield (405 Central Ave, Northfield, IL) from 5 to 6 pm on the first Wednesday of each month.
- Framework – Each session will include a general check in and a weekly topic or activity. Group members will build on the social and emotional skills they learned during camp, while continuing and strengthening the relationships established over the summer. Topics covered may include identifying and managing emotions, grounding techniques, communication skills, bonding and relationship skills, and art therapy.
