Objectives
At the conclusion of this workshop, participants will:
- Understand the relationship between professional ethical guidelines and the law when it comes to clinical practice
- Explain and understand the risks and benefits of telehealth, and best practices when working digitally
- Apply ethical decision-making models to effectively solve common ethical dilemmas that arise in clinical practice
- Discuss specific considerations when working with minors
Dipali Bharadwaj, Psy.D.
Presenter Bio
Dipali Bharadwaj, Psy.D., is the Clinic Director and the Director of Clinical Training at the Depression and Anxiety Specialty Clinic (DASC). Her clinical background is in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Psychodynamic disciplines. She specializes in mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and dissociative disorders. She has experience with training and education and has served as adjunct faculty in both master and doctoral level psychology programs as well as been a presenter/trainer for numerous workshops and seminars including a broad range of topics within her areas of experience.
