Cocktails for a Cause Raises over $385,000 for Mental Health

On October 16, Josselyn’s signature fall event brought together over 200 guests to support the organization’s vision of Mental health for all. This year’s Cocktails for a Cause event proved to be an overwhelming success, raising a record-breaking $385,000 (and counting!).

The evening included an inspiring program featuring Josselyn client and board member Janice Mabie MacVicar, who shared her personal journey with an effective therapy offered at Josselyn, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

This therapy is designed to help individuals process trauma and emotional distress in a safe, supportive environment.

Guests gathered at Sunset Ridge Country Club for a memorable evening and enjoyed craft cocktails, delicious small bites, and engaging conversations with fellow supporters and friends of Josselyn.

Josselyn’s CEO and President, Susan Resko, shared heartfelt gratitude, stating, “I am so thankful for the generous community that has come together for Josselyn. This support allows us to continue making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.”

With 88% of Josselyn’s clients being low-income, the funds raised through Cocktails for a Cause are instrumental in expanding access to much-needed mental health services. Those who couldn’t attend still have the opportunity to contribute by visiting the event page and supporting the cause.
