Have you ever tried to get your child to a doctor or therapist, and juggle the challenges of life, work, or other family needs? Now, imagine your child needs treatment that requires 9 hours each week for 6 weeks. This has been the challenge for teenagers who require an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).

Thanks to the generosity of the Josselyn Auxiliary Board, and to the Fields Auto Group for helping to secure the vehicle, we are pleased to share that transportation is one less hurdle for parents/caregivers and teens in our Teen IOP.

Our teen clients come from the Wisconsin border, Antioch, Chicago, and Arlington Heights, because no other IOP program exists for low-income children in this vast geographic area.

Josselyn’s Teen IOP offers morning and afternoon sessions for teens struggling with mood and anxiety that is significantly impacting their day-to-day life. Key features include:

  • Safe space for all teens, ages 12-18 in grades 7 to 12
  • 3 hours/day, 3 times a week in morning or afternoon sessions
  • Weekly curriculum customized to participants’ needs
  • Weekly psychiatry and family therapy
  • Expressive therapy groups (art and movement)
  • Direct interaction with the child’s school
  • Most insurances accepted, including Medicaid

We extend our sincere thanks to the Josselyn Auxiliary Board for the generous support that provides transportation to teens who would otherwise go without care. We also acknowledge corporate sponsor Fields Auto Group that helped us secure the van.
