Objectives

At the conclusion of this workshop, participants will:

  • Identify foundational strategies therapists can use during the initial phases of family therapy
  • Explore real-life case studies and engage in collaborative, open-ended decision-making to strengthen clinical creativity
  • Build confidence in managing countertransference and supporting families who resist change, while trusting core therapeutic instincts

Presenter Bio

Nick French, LMFT is a couple and family therapist with 10 years of experience supporting individuals, relationships, and family systems. He currently works at Urban Wellness and is launching his solo practice, Night Owl Therapy PLLC. Nick also facilitates a weekly Family Constitution group at Josselyn and enjoys helping therapists grow their confidence and creativity in the messy, meaningful work of family therapy. He’s excited to learn alongside you.
