Adult Grief and Loss Group

Share and Receive Support Alongside Peers

Purpose

To create a safe and non-judgmental space for adults who are grieving loved ones. Participants will collectively process grief, learn about the grieving process, and develop coping skills to move toward healing

  • Participant Details – Open to Josselyn clients age 18+ who are actively grieving the loss of a loved one, such as a family member or a friend, and who are interested in processing their grief among other adults experiencing similar loss
  • Date & Time – Meets Saturdays (biweekly), 10 – 11 am via Zoom
  • Framework – Group will begin with a check-in and a self-reflection exercise or other form of mindfulness. Group Facilitators will present a discussion topic related to the grieving process, possibly accompanied by a brief presentation, activity, or journaling prompt. Group members will have the opportunity to share how the presented topic relates to their lives. Group will end with a summary and check-out.
