The need for behavioral health services is self-evident:
- One in five children and adults have a diagnosable mental, emotional or behavioral disorder.
- Approximately 70% of them do not receive mental health services.
The Josselyn Center meets the behavioral health needs of our community. More than 1,000 individuals a year receive clinical services from The Josselyn Center. More than 90% of our clients qualify for reduced fees based on income. Our results indicate we are very good at what we do. Learn more about making a donation today.
Obviously this success requires resources to hire the best people to develop programs and help our clients improve their quality of life. So fundraising is very important. We have several fundraising events every year. Learn more about our upcoming events here.
Here are our 2015 events.
The Fall Gala, which was held this year at Fields Volvo in Northfield, where the venue was transformed into a speakeasy for the night. Roaring twenties music put attendees in the mood for the Gatsby-themed evening. All proceeds from this event will go to support our clinical services for children and adults.
The Golf Committee of The Josselyn Center hosted its 20th Annual Golf Outing at Pine Meadow Golf Club in Mundelein. The event included a round of golf on one of the nation’s premier public courses, followed by a barbecue dinner and a fabulous raffle. All proceeds from this event will go to support our clinical services for children and adults.
The Women’s Committee of The Josselyn Center hosted its Seventh Annual Luncheon in support of Camp Neeka. This event was held at Northmoor Country Club, in Highland Park, with a book presentation from guest speaker Renée Rosen, author of “What the Lady Wants” A Novel of Marshall Field and the Gilded Age. All proceeds from this luncheon support Camp Neeka.
